Sport at its best can be a great unifier and during January we are asking all to unite in support of the fight against cancer in young people, regardless of your sport and the team you support for #TeamShirtTuesday

New Huddersfield Town Partner Libra Europe Consulting Limited (LEC) have inspired our January campaign by kindly donating a football shirt from a Town match they are sponsoring to raise funds for the work of The LCYCT. We would like you to join their support during January by sharing a picture of you sporting your team shirt with the hashtag #TeamShirtTuesday and make a donation to The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust and its support for young people with cancer. Being able build on our programme with the football club to support the fantastic work that The Laura Crane Trust carries out is a real honour and something we are all passionate about. I look forward to seeing everyone in their teams shirt throughout January!”

Cancer does not play a fair game, especially with teenage patients, often resulting in harsh, painful and invasive treatments and leading to fear, loneliness and isolation. Whatever colour shirt with whichever team badge we wear, we can all agree it is time for the full time whistle for cancer, so let’s unite and support young cancer patients.
