We are thrilled to be nominated for two Awards at prestigious events this month. The charity has been shortlisted for Charity of the year at the Best of Brighouse Awards and Fundraising Manager Helen Mervill is a finalist in the Services to Charity category at the Huddersfield Examiner Community Awards.

The Awards take place during the month that Laura Crane would have celebrated her 40th birthday and both awards have a special links to Laura.

Laura was a Brighouse girl and so the recognition of her charity in her home town through the Best of Brighouse Awards is especially poignant and Helen was a close friend of Laura's and her nomination is based on the work she continues in Laura's name.
