We are all missing regular social interaction right now and although nothing is quite the same as real face to face contact, we can still do things with friends, family and colleagues that make us feel less isolated.
The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust are asking people to join them for their virtual “Dinner With” events during November and December and into the new year and are encourage people to host their own.
The charity's Dinner With events will be hosted by friends and supporters of the charity and will be announced shortly.
Earlier in the year with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic we’d all hoped that by the Autumn and Winter our lives would have returned to normal but that has not been the case and although we can now see some light at the end of the tunnel, that is not likely to arrive until the Spring. So the festive season may not be what we are used to with big family gatherings and big parties with friends, but lets still get together in the way we can and #PartyLikeIts2020
The understatement of 2020 could be that is has been a challenging year! We have experienced a period of time unprecedented to all and it has turned all our worlds upside down. But in times like these there are always those that suffer more. Imagine what this uncertainty and isolation is doing to the wellbeing and health of a teenager with cancer experiencing debilitating and painful treatments and an uncertain future. Now more than ever The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust needs your support.
