Youth Against Cancer Week
As a youth cancer charity supporting teenagers & young adults with cancer throughout the UK, we know it is very important to raise cancer awareness among young people. Our Youth Against Cancer campaign aims to raise awareness of the signs of cancer in young people and to encourage a more healthy lifestyle, as well as raising funds to support young people aged 13-24 with cancer.
Can your school take part in the Youth Against Cancer campaign and encourage your young people to join the fight against cancer and support other young people just like them, who are dealing with the harsh realities of cancer; by raising awareness and much needed funds…?
Here's how you can join the
Take part in National Youth Against Cancer Week (17 - 23 October 2016)
National Youth Against Cancer week is a week of youth dedicated fundraising and raising awareness of cancer in young people. We are inviting schools and colleges up and down the country to take part in a host of different events and we would love your school to join us. Participation can be as simple as displaying 'Check Yourself Tuesday' awareness posters or holding a non-uniform day. Or perhaps your school could host a Youth Against Cancer Run during Youth Against Cancer Week.
Youth Against Cancer Run
Hold a one mile sponsored fun run during the week or an alternative day of the year. The run could be teamed with a healthy lifestyle campaign in school. The charity can provide healthy lifestyle factsheets, sponsor forms and certificates for all participants.
