Adoption/Partnership Adopt the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust as
your chosen charity for a year or longer. The charity can offer a
number of PR, marketing and staff engagement benefits tailored to
your company. We would be delighted to set up a meeting or
teleconference to discuss further.
||Sponsorship Sponsorship opportunities (or some say a more subtle and honest form of advertising) can range from headline sponsorship of large national appeals such as 'Youth Against Cancer Week' and the 'Gifts 4 Patients' appeal, to event sponsorship, such as the charity's high profile, annual ball.||Employee fundraising and challenges Strengthening teamwork, motivating staff and creating a positive image within the local/national community are benefits for your company when publicly supporting a charity. Get your staff involved in runs, treks, survival adventures, challenges or corporate competition events.|
|Matched funding As a way of motivating staff and to encourage fundraising, many companies will 'match' (to an agreed limit) the amount raised by their staff for any events they organise or for sponsorship they raise.||Gifts in Kind Donate 'gifts in kind', which are useful as prizes or auction items at our events. We include donated items in parcels we send to hospitals at Christmas for our young cancer patients. The charity can sell 'donated goods', helping to raise extra funds for our charitable aims.||Props We can provide you with promotional items to help with your fundraising, such as pin-badges, leaflets, brochures and newsletters and T-shirts, balloons, collecting buckets and boxes.|
|Payroll Giving As a caring company, this is an excellent tool for recruiting, retaining and motivating good staff - giving your employees the opportunity to give to charity before tax and creating a positive company profile.||Cause-related Marketing We have a number of supportive companies who agree to donate a percentage of their sales income at our events. This is a great way of introducing your products to new customers whilst raising funds.||GIFTS APPEAL each year we send approximately 500 gifts to 43
hospitals throughout the UK for young cancer patients spending
their Christmas day in a hospital bed in the fight for their
lives. There are so many wonderful opportunities to support
this appeal - please get in touch and perhaps you can help us "£uel
the sleigh" this Chrismas
