We fight Cancer in young people

We help young cancer patients like Sarah and Jacob

We raise money to support 13 – 24-year-olds fighting cancer by funding medical and social research specifically into cancers that affect that age group and funding support projects for young cancer patients.

About Us

We support young people with cancer through targeted cancer research and support projects to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Donate today to give them a tomorrow

Our research is funded under the Jacquie Roeder Research Fund, in memory of Laura’s mum who set up the charity in 1996. Before the founding of Laura’s Trust there was no funding for research into cancer in 13-24-year-olds.

With your kind help and support we will ensure every young cancer patient, spending their Christmas day in a hospital bed, will receive a special gift.

How We Help

We’re a small charity making a
big difference

01

Huddersfield Research

Development of new treatments specifically for young people based on the molecule CD40, which destroys cancerous tumours without harming healthy cell tissue – leading to a treatment without side-effects.

02

Tech Libraries For All Young Cancer Patients

Let’s make sure all young cancer patients throughout the UK and Ireland have access to the technology they need to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation and ensure their education stays on track.

03

Young People’s Stories

We continue to be inspired by the stories we are old by young cancer patients. Our Ambassadors Sarah Dransfield and Jacob Simpson tell us there stories.

Please be
bovvered, I am.

Catherine Tate has worked with the charity for over 10 years. The comedian and actress had read about the work of the charity in a magazine and had been touched by Laura’s story and wanted to help.
